What ignited your passion for flying?
From a young age, I was captivated by flying, but unfortunately I didn’t have the means to pursue it. After a successful career in the Middle East, I opted for a career change and chose to pursue my passion for flying. Moving back to South Africa has allowed me to follow my dream and take advantage of flying in this beautiful country.

What is your favourite aircraft to fly and why?
Having flown the Cessna 210 doing charter work in Namibia, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for its power, performance, and versatility, along with its rugged reliability.

The perfect student would be:
A perfect student is someone who is as enthusiastic about flying as I am, well-prepared for the lesson, has studied the material in advance, knows the SOPs, and arrives ahead of time.

In my spare time I enjoy:
Hiking, golf and spending time with my wife and two sons.
