Requirements for Hire to Fly

• A SA validated PPL
• 100 flying hours (total time)
• At least 5 hours on type and model
• A satisfactory dual check including at least 3 take-offs and landings
• Currency on type of less than 60 days old
• Excess Insurance cover of R25,000
• Write Hire and Fly exam on SEAMS (Booking System)
