Qualifications:
SACAA CPL ME/IR and Grade 3 Instructor.

What ignited your passion for flying?
My mom worked for SAA as cabin crew for 20 years so I’ve always been surrounded by family friends who are in the industry. Hearing all of their stories and experiences really ignited the passion I have for aviation. I’ve been very fortunate that I have been able to travel around the world. Going to different airports, seeing different types of beautiful aircrafts and the idea of one day being able to travel as a career really cemented my aspirations.

How many flying hours do you have?
+/- 300 hours

How many aircraft are you rated on?
I am rated on 5 different aircraft. The Piper Cherokee, Arrow and Seneca. The Sling as well as the Cessna 210

What is your favourite aircraft to fly and why?
Sling 2 – It is a good training aircraft. I admire its capability of being able to cruise at a considerable speed while being able to go to places one can only imagine and land on some of the toughest terrains.

The perfect student would be:
Someone who is committed, willing to work hard but enjoy the journey at the same time.

In my spare time I enjoy:
I love anything to do with sports, watching or playing. I also enjoy braaing with family and friends. When I am able to, I’m also passionate about traveling to new places.
